ABOUT THE MLWLA

The purpose of the Madison Lake Watershed and Lake Association is to promote the protection and improvement of the lake and surrounding watershed area through education and advocacy. Our goals include improving the water quality of our lake through a thoughtful assessment of the lakes needs to determine the best approach to achieving a healthy, thriving lake and watershed ecosystem. 

Our interests include:

  • Management of invasive weed species

  • Water quality

  • Improved aquatic environment for better fishing, swimming, and boating

  • Shoreland restoration

  • Education and outreach

MEMBERSHIP

Anyone with a concern to protect and preserve Madison Lake is invited to be a member of the MLWLA. The board meets the first Thursday of every month at the city hall. All members are welcome to attend.
