Score Your Shore Restoration - City of Madison Lake Partnership
The board is proposing that a portion of the North Shore Park shoreline be converted to a model of native vegetation consistent with the DNR Score the Shore manual. Signage would be placed to describe the different zones and plant species. Learn MORE.

Fishing Pier - City of Madison Lake /Blue Earth County
The board is exploring the idea of partnering with the City of Madison Lake to upgrade the existing fishing pier or work with Blue Earth County on the purchase of a fishing pier for Bray Park.

How to Enter:

1)  Join the Facebook group Madison Lake Watershed and Lake Association

2)  Post a photo which features something to do with Madison Lake (fishing, swimming, skiing, sunset, or whatever).

 

3)  The photo with the most likes by August 15, 2024 will be the winner and they will be presented with a $50 gift certificate at the Annual Meeting.

 

4)  Must be a MLWLA member to win.

Monthly Board Meeting

All are welcome to attend our monthly board meetings, the first Thursday of each month. We meet at 6:00 pm at the Madison Lake City Hall. 
 

Annual Meeting

Join us for an evening of food, refreshments, and an engaging presentation at the Madison Lake Watershed and Lake Association (MLWLA) Annual Meeting on Thursday, August 15 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, at the Upper Pavilion at Bray Park. The social hour begins at 5:00 PM, followed by the election of the 2025 MLWLA board members. At 6:20 PM, we’re excited to welcome guest speaker Jeffrey Flory from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, who will discuss invasive plant species affecting southern Minnesota lakes, including Madison Lake.
