Water Resource Center - MSU Partnership
WRC would assist with event sampling and possibly continuous monitoring of key areas allowing the collection of scientifically based data. Click HERE for more information.

Score Your Shore Restoration - City of Madison Lake Partnership
The board is proposing that a portion of the North Shore Park shoreline be converted to a model of native vegetation consistent with the DNR Score the Shore manual. Signage would be placed to describe the different zones and plant species. Learn MORE.

Fishing Pier - City of Madison Lake /Blue Earth County
The board is exploring the idea of partnering with the City of Madison Lake to upgrade the existing fishing pier or work with Blue Earth County on the purchase of a fishing pier for Bray Park.

How to Enter:

1)  Join the Facebook group Madison Lake Watershed and Lake Association

2)  Post a photo which features something to do with Madison Lake (fishing, swimming, skiing, sunset, or whatever).

 

3)  The photo with the most likes by September 18, 2025 will be the winner and they will be presented with a $50 gift certificate at the Annual Meeting.

 

4)  Must be a MLWLA member to win.

Madison Lake Boat Parade

This year, the Madison Lake Boat Parade is MOVING from its traditional spot during Paddlefish Days at the end of July, and joining with the Annual Veterans Memorial Celebration, held on the last Saturday in June. Proudly sponsored by the Madison Lake Watershed Lake Association on June 28, 2028 - Register for FREE to win PRIZES!

Monthly Board Meeting

The MLWLA board meets the first Thursday of each month. We meet at Noon at The Landing (803 Main St, Madison Lake). Guests are welcome with prior notification to the president, as meeting capacity is limited.​​
