Water Resource Center - MSU Partnership
WRC would assist with event sampling and possibly continuous monitoring of key areas allowing the collection of scientifically based data. Click HERE for more information.

Score Your Shore Restoration - City of Madison Lake Partnership
The board is proposing that a portion of the North Shore Park shoreline be converted to a model of native vegetation consistent with the DNR Score the Shore manual. Signage would be placed to describe the different zones and plant species. Learn MORE.

Fishing Pier - City of Madison Lake /Blue Earth County
The board is exploring the idea of partnering with the City of Madison Lake to upgrade the existing fishing pier or work with Blue Earth County on the purchase of a fishing pier for Bray Park.

How to Enter:

1)  Join the Facebook group Madison Lake Watershed and Lake Association

2)  Post a photo which features something to do with Madison Lake (fishing, swimming, skiing, sunset, or whatever).

 

3)  The photo with the most likes by August 15, 2024 will be the winner and they will be presented with a $50 gift certificate at the Annual Meeting.

 

4)  Must be a MLWLA member to win.

Monthly Board Meeting

All are welcome to attend our monthly board meetings, the first Thursday of each month. We meet at 6:00 pm at the Madison Lake City Hall. 
 

Spring Clean Up Day at Bray Park RESCHEDULED

Due to the weather forecast on April 20th, the Spring Clean Up at Bray Park has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 27th. Please meet at the log cabin at 9:00 am. We will work until 12:00 pm - sandwiches and water will also be provided. Please dress appropriately and bring work gloves. Garbage bags will be provided.
