Score Your Shore Restoration - City of Madison Lake Partnership
The board is proposing that a portion of the North Shore Park shoreline be converted to a model of native vegetation consistent with the DNR Score the Shore manual. Signage would be placed to describe the different zones and plant species. Learn MORE.
Fishing Pier - City of Madison Lake /Blue Earth County
The board is exploring the idea of partnering with the City of Madison Lake to upgrade the existing fishing pier or work with Blue Earth County on the purchase of a fishing pier for Bray Park.

How to Enter:
1) Join the Facebook group Madison Lake Watershed and Lake Association
​
2) Post a photo which features something to do with Madison Lake (fishing, swimming, skiing, sunset, or whatever).
3) The photo with the most likes by August 17, 2023 will be the winner and they will be presented with a $50 gift certificate at the Annual Meeting.
4) Must be a MLWLA member to win.

Upcoming Events
Monthly Board Meeting
All are welcome to attend our monthly board meetings, the first Thursday of each month. We meet at 6:00 pm at the Madison Lake City Hall.

Rain Garden Clean Up
Meet members of the MLWLA and explore the Rain Garden on Thursday, June 8th. The Rain Garden is located on the shore just below All Saints Catholic Church (4th Street and Lake Shore Drive, Madison Lake). Bring gloves and a small saw if you have one to assist with weeding.
Annual Meeting
The Annual meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 17, 5:00 - 7:00 pm, at the Bray Park upper pavilion. The winner of the Facebook photo contest will be awarded a $50.00 gift certificate.
